The security update known as KB5029263, which was released during the August 2023 Patch Tuesday, introduces enhancements to system performance on Windows 11 22H2. Regrettably, a portion of users are encountering difficulties when attempting to install this update. The installation process of the patch encounters errors with specific codes such as 0x0070002, 0x800f0922, and 0x80070057. In certain scenarios, the cumulative update is downloaded successfully, but upon restarting the system, it becomes stuck at the "Undoing changes made to your computer" stage, eventually reverting to the previous version. In response to these issues, we have compiled a set of solutions to address the installation failures of KB5029263 on Windows 11 22H2.
