Microsoft has brought both Start Menu and Start Screen in its latest version Windows 10 where start menu is in more organized form and start
screen consist different workgroup. It depends on you what you prefer more, you
can simply switch from start menu to screen following steps I have mentioned under.
Steps to shift from start menu to
start screen on windows 10 -
#. First of all, right
click on the Taskbar and click
on properties option.
#. Thereupon, Taskbar
and Start menu properties menu will appear on screen, tab start menu.
#. Uncheck
the option “Use the Start Menu instead
of the Start Screen”.
#. After that, Change
Start Setting dialog box will appear which will suggest you to
save your work
because system will close all opened apps.
#. After ensuring that you have saved your work, click on Sign out and change setting option
in change start setting dialog box.
#. Now you will be signed out, again sign in and enjoy Start Screen which will be totally separated
from the desktop.
