Background Slide Show feature is staying with almost all
versions of Windows operating system
to enhance the beauty of Screen display. No doubt, there are a number of fans
of this feature. But contrary to it, there are also a huge number of users who
do not like it. Reason behind it is that it consumes extra battery power (for
laptop user), reduces performance of system and many more. So, here I am writing
about enabling and disabling of Desktop
Background Slide Show in Windows 10. What you prefer can do using steps
mentioned under.

#. First of all, launch Control Panel using Start
menu.
#. Click on Power
Options in Control Panel window thereafter click on Change plan setting of selected power option.
#. Instantly, you will get a new window entitled as Change settings for the plan: Power saver
in which click on Change advanced power
settings.
#. After it, power options window with Advanced settings tab will come on
screen where double click on Desktop Background settings followed by
double click on Slide show option.
#. Under slide show option, you will get two options On battery and Plugged in. If you want to pause slide on Battery then select Paused of On battery option else available.
If you want to pause on Plugged in then select Paused of Plugged in
option else select available.
#. Finally,
click on Apply and Ok button.
