How to Create System Image and Make Restore in Windows 7

Create Backup system Image in windows 7 - 

• Go to Start button and type Backup and Restore. 
• from search lists, click on Backup and Restore link.

• Now choose Create a System Image menu in left tab.

•  A new window (Create a System Image) is showing. Click Next button.

•  Here we have to choose suitable media for storing  backup files.

1. Local hard disk drive
2. USB hard disk
3. Burn data in multiple DVD.

• If we have confirmed local drives (E :) for storing backup via select on a hard disk tab.
• Click Next button.

• Now next window ask to confirm  backup setting.
• Click Start backup option.

• Now process of create System image will complete within 10-20 minutes or it depend on opted backup files sizes.

 

Restore from system Image :-

If we likely to restore windows 7  from recent taken backup image.

• Go to Start button and type Backup and restore.
• Now Backup and Restore window is showing.
• Click link on Recover System Setting or Your Computer.

• Click  Advanced recovery methods option .

• Here we have to select option – Use a System Image......... computer.

• Now next window will ask to take backup files then choose Backup now option.

• our computer will restore from system image opted drive automatically.
